This story has been inspired by and is dedicated to my awesome friend Mikey who once replied to one of my comments using an emoticon of an old man talking, I loved it so much that I went in search of an old lady to use in my own reply and was delighted to find her. We started to create funny little conversations between the two of them. They started out without names until in one reply Mikey used the name Ethel so when I replied I used the name Walter. Since then Mikey has introduced me to two other characters, Gladys who is featured here and the infamous old man Nebermeyer! I enjoy these little conversations so much that I thought it would be nice to write some short stories based on the characters! Thank you for being my inspiration Mikey!
